* All orders require a 50% deposit.  Final payment will include Shipping and Handling charges.  Gift Certificates must be paid in full including Shipping and Handling charges.  Many of the Canvas sizes are available on a flat (stiff) canvas, which is easier to frame.  Most painting can be displayed on small easels. 

Additional Order and Pricing Information

  • Your portrait will be painted using the best quality acrylic paints on acid free canvas.

  • You need to send by mail or email 3 or 4 good quality photographs (see our section on photography suggestions.)  Original photos will be returned with portrait.

  • Indicate the pose you prefer and your choice of backgrounds.  Portraits of multiply pets can be composed from individual photos if necessary.

  • Please indicate on your order your choice of size, background color or scenery and the number of pets to include.

  • You must pay a deposit of 50% of the total order before work can begin.

  • Upon completion of the work, you will receive by email a digital photograph of your portrait for approval.  Upon approval and receipt of final balance of 50% due plus shipping, insurance and handling charges (usually runs 10 - 20% of portrait) your portrait will be shipped.  Request for shipping by air or overnight delivery will be additional charge.

  • No framing is included.

  • Prices shown are for all domestic animals and pets.  Commission portraits of wildlife and horses (other than head shots) will be considered for an additional fee.  Please submit your request for an estimate.

  • Additional animals, collage of pets, specific details in background (favorite toys, fabrics, specific settings, etc) may alter price of the painting.

Shipping, handling and insurance charges 

  • All portraits will be shipped in the continental United States by USPS priority Mail.  Delivery from shipping date will vary from two to six days depending on your distance from Savannah, GA. 

  • The charge for shipping, handling and insurance in the continental US will vary depending on size, weight and territory  from $12.00 – 50.00.  (example: up to one pound in a  9 X 12” USPS standard packaging will be $12.00, a 10 pound 24 X 30 painting from east coast to Denver, Co is $45.00).  Overnight and second day Air delivery is available for an additional fee.

  • The charge for shipping to Canada, Mexico and Internationally will vary from $20.00 – 60.00 US. The final charge will be based on weight, size, shipping method and destination. 

  • All charges must be paid by credit card, certified check or money order in US funds. 

  • All Georgia resident will be charged 6% Georgia local sales and use tax.

  • Completion of portrait from receipt of deposit to shipping will range from 4 to 6 weeks, depending on complexity of painting and availability of time for commission work.  If this does not fit your schedule, especially for gifts, please let us know and we will work with you as best as time will allow.

 

  • Postal Alert on all Shipments following 09/11/2001 - Please be aware that our normal shipments are sent Priority Mail (2-3 days delivery).  The USPS can not guaranteed Priority Mail to be delivered in 2-3 days, with all the extra security required at their facilities.  As of May 2008, shipping time has returned to normal and most are now on time, but experience during the holiday season in the past have shown that packages shipped Priority Mail could take a up to 7 days.  The only guarantee that USPS can give is on Express Mail which is guaranteed for overnight delivery runs an additional $10.00 per shipment.
